Job Details
A quality focused independent based in Leicester, Leicestershire are looking for an Optometrist to work 3, 4 or 5 days a week. Having been in the local area for over 60 years they have developed an excellent reputation for offering patients a comprehensive and personal service. The new directors have invested significantly into modernising the practice, with more developments planned in the next 12 months.
Role
- Providing thorough 30 - 45 minute sight tests to patients of all ages
- Working alongside another experienced Optometrist
- Access to advanced retinal photography including an OCT
- Trial frames - Upgrade available in 12 months' time
- Refit planned for next year
- Fields done by the support team
- Contact lens work
- Working closely with the Dispensing Optician and support team to ensure a smooth handover
- Professional Development - additional training, specialist clinics etc
- Working 3, 4 or 5 days a week
- 9:00 - 17:30 working hours
- One late opening a week
- Most Saturdays included
Requirements
- Fully qualified Optometrist registered with the GOC
- All levels of experience will be considered.
- Excellent communications and organisational skills
- Commercially aware
- Clinically focused
Salary
- Paying between £36,000 to £48,000 depending on experience
