The ideal candidate for this Domiciliary role will be a Newcastle based, GOC registered Optometrist who is looking to make a move away from the high-street.

Specsavers Home Visits offer a comprehensive eyecare service to those who cannot get to us without assistance. This is generally a home or care home visit.

This is an extremely rewarding and challenging opportunity that makes a big difference to the local community and as you can imagine, no two days are ever the same. Your patient list will be of mixed ages with a diverse range of conditions. This ranges from the elderly to children with development disorders. The impact that this role makes to people’s lives will not only give you job satisfaction but also the opportunity to work in an environment that benefits from human interaction.

As this role will be covering the Newcastle region, there will be no late nights or over-night stays. You will also have the company of an experienced Optical Dispenser, who will be at hand the set up the equipment and dispense.
