This position will take you into large market town of Tamworth in Staffordshire, known for its rich history. The store itself is close to retail parks, has an onsite multi story parking and close to the beautiful castle grounds. Tamworth is just a twenty-minute direct train journey from Birmingham making commuting quick and easy. Alternatively, if you enjoy the buzz of a large city from time to time but also enjoying returning home to somewhere quieter, Tamworth is the ideal location. Amongst many things to do in this town, Tamworth is home of the SnowDome one of the UKs largest instore ski centres!
Within the store we have 5 test rooms and 33 staff members making us a medium to large sized store. We are equipped with Nidek Phoropter heads, Topcon Fundus camera, Tonoref auto-refractor, Zeiss fields suitable for DVLA, I-harmony and we even have an on-site lab. Our friendly, close-knit team is a total mix of staff aging from 15 to 71 years old! We are keen to support the development of all out staff members and as such do weekly training and regular 1-2-1s.
The store itself is well known for its excellent career progression with EOS schemes such as MECs and Diabetic Screening, ILM and JVP Pathway progression and much more.
