A very exciting opportunity has become available for a customer focused Optical Assistant on a full time, permanent basis in a very busy practice. I am recruiting currently for a franchise of one of the UK’s most trusted optical brands.
This practice is situated on a busy high street and is a large practice with several test rooms and hearcare, they have a large and loyal customer base. They have a very friendly and welcoming team in place, who all work for each other to deliver the highest levels of customer care.
You will be working in a busy store surrounded by a very supportive and close-knit team of around 40 strong who are willing to help and aid you in the right direction, as they are big on team building and work to provide an excellent customer experience.
Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant
The role will entail dispensing spectacles to all levels, conducting pre-screen tests and contact lens teaches. You will also be required to carry out frame styling, adjustments, collections and give patients advice on best options. Reception duties and general admin will also be a part of the role and helping with the smooth running of the practice.
Requirements of the Optical Assistant
As an Optical Assistant within this practice you will work on the shopfloor in the dispensing team. You will be on hand to help junior members of the team with any difficult questions and general trouble shooting. As a member of the stores team you will have a valued input with best practice and clinical compliance.
