This position is a with a well established dual discipline healthcare business (pharmacy / optical) This is a very community focused company and they have a very good local reputation. This company also works closely with local schools and GP’s to give an incoming optometrist a varied role day to day. You will be well supported by an experienced team and working within a very well equipped test room.Responsibilities of the Optometrist.
Your role will be to offer a comprehensive sight test working to 30 – 40 minute test slots. You will be working in a well equipped test room that includes an auto-refractor and Phoropter. You will also be working with a paperless system. There will be some contact lens work but not a vast amount and this practice does get a lot of referrals from the local GP’s.Requirements of the Optometrist.
To apply for this position you need to be a fully qualified, GOC registered Optometrist. You need to be able to work as the sole optometrist within a practice. In-line with this company’s ethics they are looking for somebody who has a good chair side manner with a professional and clinical attitude.
