I have just taken on a role for a very well established practice in the Walsall area for a Contact Lens Optician who is happy to be the sole clinician.

Contact Lens Optician Position

A very exciting opportunity has become available for a customer focused Contact Lens Optician on a full time, permanent basis in the Walsall area. I am recruiting currently for one of the UK’s most respected opticians.

The practice is in a very busy shopping area and has a large and loyal customer base. They have a very friendly and welcoming team in place, who all work for each other to deliver the highest levels of customer care.

Responsibilities of the Contact Lens Optician

The role will entail contact lens fittings taking care of your patents and managing your clinics effectively as well as occasional dispensing spectacles to all levels. Due to being the sole clinician in the department, you will have a team of dedicated dispensers and play a major part in developing the business moving forward.

Requirements of the Contact Lens Optician

As a Contact Lens Optician, you will have full contact lens clinics and be able to manage your fitting times effectively while providing excellent care. You will be on hand to help junior members of the team with any difficult questions and general trouble shooting. As a member of the stores clinical team, you will have a valued input with best practice and clinical compliance.

Compensation for the Contact Lens Optician

A competitive salary package is on offer dependant on your experience along with additional benefits. You will also have the opportunity to receive ongoing training. You will also receive 33 days holiday inclusive of Bank Holidays.
