I am currently working with a high end, well established, independent opticians who have an excellent reputation in the area mainly from word of mouth and repeat business.

Very high end, modern practice with all the latest equipment offering a clinical eye care service. My client is extremely patient focussed, not a hard sell environment and aim to offer the best and most professional service they can.

Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant

You will be able to confidently and competently be able to dispense to all levels, pre-screen and contact lens teach.
You will be able to help frame style and advise each patient with what works for them by offering suggestions and advice.
The most important thing my client is looking for is a warm, approachable person who can build rapport and make each customer feel relaxed.
A key part of this role is to work efficiently as part of a team, be able to support your fellow colleagues and work together to be able to provide a high level of customer service.
My client prides themselves of their image and therefore are looking for passionate, enthusiastic individuals looking for a long term career to grow alongside the practice.

Requirements of the Optical Assistant

Be able to provide excellent customer service
Ideally over 2 years experience, comfortable with all shop floor duties who can be left to work within team with little support needed
Be driven and want to develop within your role
Be able to work individually and as part of a team
Working 5 days 9:30-18:00 Tuesday to Saturday, closed on Sundays and Mondays
