Optometrist

N Lloyd-Thomas Opticians is a long established Independent Practice which launched in 1966.  We are located in the border town of Oswestry which is between Shrewsbury and Chester backing onto to Snowdonia National Park with a wealth of outdoor activities on the doorstep.

We are looking for a GOC registered Optometrist either full or part time/employed or locum to join our highly equipped and very friendly practice.

The role will include, Eye Examinations including OCT, PEARS, Cataract Refinement, Glaucoma Monitoring, contact lens work.

We offer the latest Testing Equipment incl OCT with continual upgrades and work on a 40 Minute Test Appointment.

The right candidate, whom needs to be GOC registered and preferably WOPEC and PEARS Accredited, should have the desire to deliver outstanding eye care in a compassionate and professional way while being commercially sensitive.

We try and work as much as a team as possible and have fully trained support staff to assist (pre-screening etc)

Days of work can be flexible, but a Saturday rota in mornings will be required (9am to 1pm).  We believe in a good work life balance so don’t open on Saturday afternoons, Sundays or Bank Holidays
