Eyewear Merhcandiser - South West

Regional Eyewear sales Role or Eyewear Merchandiser Role in the South West. Zest Optical are currently looking to recruit a Regional Eyewear Sales Manager for a leading designer and manufacturer of Eyewear products. The position will cover the area of Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Dorset, Wiltshire, Hampshire, Gloucestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire, Worcestershire and South Wales.

The Regional Eyewear Merchandiser represents the company in the designated territory and is responsible for the development of profitable growth in value and volume according to the agreed budget. The role will also involve increasing market share via business consulting and building long-term relationships with existing and new customers

Key responsibilities;

• Ongoing account maintenance
• Training on products, software and business tools
• Communication of marketing and business strategy
• Confident presentations in practice or to large groups
• To achieve monthly, quarterly and annual growth targets for your territory in line with agreed goals and objectives, measured against the equivalent of other territories around the UK.
• Demonstrate effective selling skills in line with expectations of the role. Training is given as required.
• Conduct regular territory updates as appropriate and as agreed with Sales Manager.
• Share best practice with colleagues through appropriate communication channels as agreed with SM.

The candidate will have a strong background in Merchandising and will need to be able to demonstrate strong skills in business planning and business growth in your current role. You will also need strong time management and organisational skills, with a keen interest in customer needs and attention to detail.
