Optometrist Position

This role is working with a company that has an excellent reputation and is a trusted optical brand. This practice is well established with a long standing customer base. The store is well appointed and situated in a busy location. The team in place is very friendly and supportive and the practice is modern and well equipped.

Responsibilities of the Optometrist

You role will be to perform comprehensive sight tests to your patients. You will investigate and offer recommendations. you will be able to effectively manage your diary and work to 25 minute slots. You will be seeing roughly 15 – 18 patients per day with all pre-screens being completed for you. You will also be required to undertake contact lens fittings and aftercares.

Requirements of the Optometrist

To apply for this position you will need to be a fully qualified optometrist who is registered with the GOC and up to date with all CET requirements. You will be a hard working, people person who is a strong communicator and passionate about optics. You will have a strong work ethic and will be looking for a long term opportunity.

Compensation for the Optometrist

On offer for your efforts is a competitive basic salary of up to £52,000 depending on experience along with additional benefits. You will also have the opportunity to really make a difference within a community and work within a quality practice.
