Qualified Dispensing Optician

A very exciting opportunity has become available for a Qualified Dispensing Optician to work within a large independent practice on a full time, permanent basis due to a long term senior Dispensing Optician looking to retire.

I am recruiting currently for a very well established optical company in the area, as a Qualified Dispensing Optician you will be joining a large company with a close knit team of around 20 strong, 4 testing rooms and wide client base where you will need to be approachable and friendly

Responsibilities of the Qualified Dispensing Optician

Working full time Monday to Saturday with 1 day off in the week
Hours are 8:30 – 5:45 with 1 hour lunch and a couple other little breaks in the morning
The role will entail dispensing spectacles to all levels, conducting pre-screen tests and contact lens teaches.
You will also be required to carry out frame styling and give patients advice on options.

Requirements of the Qualified Dispensing Optician

At least 2 years of experience as an Qualified Dispensing Optician ideally within a busy practice.
The ability to dispense to all levels, with a friendly and personable demeanour and strong personal work ethic.
A customer focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike.

Compensation for the Qualified Dispensing Optician

For your efforts a competitive salary of £22,000 to £27,000 is on offer.
You can also look to receive a company bonus which is new to the business but working out very well
No Sundays or Bank Holidays
