Optometrist Position

My client is an independent group who are looking to add to their team by recruiting a full time Optometrist who wants to grow and develop as the business continues to.
The role is with an independent company that is rapidly expanding and who are passionate about offering the very best service to the community that they serve. This company operates in the middle of the market with a range of frames to suit all budgets and as a result they have a good mix of private and NHS patients.
My client is flexible with the days in the week and they can also offer ALTERNATE SATURDAYS

Responsibilities of the Optometrist

This role is primarily a clinical position and you will be conducting sight tests in 20 – 25 minute slots. You will also undertake contact lens fittings and aftercares. As with most independent companies all members of staff are required to help in all areas of the practice and you will be required to come onto the shop floor and answer questions and offer your expert advice.

Requirements of the Optometrist

Applications are welcome from GOC registered Optometrists of all levels of experience, so whether you are newly qualified, or vastly experienced, my client wants to hear from you. You will be a strong team player who is always keen to better yourself with strong commercial skills. You will be looking for a long term opportunity where you can grow a praticitioner and really add value to this growing business.

Compensation for the Optometrist

Salary package is flexible depending on experience £45,000 – £55,000, and you can expect to receive a strong bonus scheme and benefits package. Working hours for this store are 0930 – 1730 Mon-Sat. Alternate Saturdays on offer for the right person.
