A truly outstanding opportunity has arisen for a full or part time Optometrist in the beautiful location of Dumfries within one of our top Scottish Specsavers stores with an earning potential in excess of a £70,000 package, dependant on experience and performance.". Situated in the South of Scotland Dumfries is an old market town on the River Nith and offers locals and visitors plenty to do whether you enjoy running, walking, sailing, mountain biking it has it all as well as th eatres, museums, galleries, festivals and so much more. The store prides itself on the quality of its work with patients, working closely with the local community to provide the best clinical outcome for new and returning patients.

Due to continued growth we are looking Optometrists (full or part time, newly qualified or experienced) to work as part of a team focused on delivering total satisfaction to our customers by conducting thorough eye examinations. You’ll offer our customers recommendations to the highest professional and ethical standards – which is something our customers have come to expect from us. You’ll also use your knowledge to effectively identify customer needs and recommend eyewear and eye care solutions accordingly. We are looking for an Optometrist to play an active role in the provision of mentoring the store team as well as providing technical advice and guidance to the store team to encourage best practice at all times. The store currently has around 35 employees all supporting each other to the success of the store. The store has 5 air-conditioned testing room and has all the technology you would expect to provide the best eyecare to our patients (Nidek Combi Units,

Nidek Auto Phoropters, Nidek Projector, Keeler Pulsair NCTs, and Slit lamps as well as Topcon Fundus Camera, Nidek Fundus Camera, Tonopen, Pachymeters, Volk Lenses, Trial Lenses and frames, Humphreys FTD Fields, Humphreys 740i Fields, and

in the near future, Nidek OCT.
