Does the prospect of managing the optical team for one of the UK's most recognisable optician businesses appeal to you?

This independently-owned chain of opticians is one of the mainstays of the UK's optician industry. The business is over 75 years old, has over 170 branches nationwide and remains family owned and run to this day.

As a Practice Manager for their team you will be expected to bring commercial awareness and excellent patient care to the table. You will benefit from an attractive remuneration package and unique career development plan, in addition to a generous salary. This role presents a fantastic opportunity to manage a high end, customer focussed practice. It's an ideal role for a motivated individual looking to take the next step in their career.

Summary:

  • Full Time 5 days per week Monday - Saturday
  • Current opening hours - 9.00am - 5.30pm
  • Generous Holiday Allowance
  • Using paperless patient system and state of art equipment
  • Independent Environment with the security of a medium sized organization
  • A very good reputation and very well respected in the market place
  • Offer OCT / Retinal Photography in every practice
  • Offer corporate eye care to businesses so a lot of patients are private / professionals
  • Position themselves as a medium to high end supplier however to still work with NHS patients

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must be a strong communicator with good personality who can offer superb customer service.
  • Passion for doing the best for every patient.
  • Willing to learn and develop
  • Strong background in optical management with a proven track record
  • Registered with the GOC and ADBO.
