Job Details
A full time Dispensing Optician is required to join a very well respected and high end independent practice based in Cambridge. The practice prides itself on providing its clients with a personal, friendly and advanced optometry service. It stocks a wide variety of designer and bespoke brands including buffalo horn and wood frames.
With strong links to the local hospital you will also be involved in speciality and complex dispensing.
The client is looking for a fully qualified Dispensing Optician with a passion for eyewear and a real love for people. You will be creative, trend aware and will have a desire to keep up to date with the latest Optical fashions. You will be able to visit international trade shows and be actively involved in frame buying.
Candidates from all backgrounds will be considered as personality and attitude really is the key, however you must be fully qualified and registered with the GOC.
Customer service is extremely important in this role, and you will be responsible for helping to maintain the very high standards that the practice currently upholds.
This is a full time role to work 5 days a week including Saturdays, with working hours from 8.45am to 5.30pm.
The salary will range from £20,000 to £30,000 depending on experience.
