A busy multiple practice that is about to undergo a massive facelift and re-fit are looking to add a qualified dispensing optician to their team this will be a straight dispensing position with possible pre-reg supervision in the future.
This is a permanent full time position and my client is looking for someone to work with help to build this practice back up to where it should be.
The practice is well situated in a busy Surrey location and has a long standing customer base of a mixed demographic. This practice is a part of one of the UK’s most successful optical companies and this store has high hopes for the future and the staff that are taken on now will be given every opportunity to progress within a company that supports future development.
Responsibilities of the Qualified Dispensing Optician
The role will be to be a leading dispenser on the shop floor. As a qualified dispensing optician you will be sharing your expertise with patients and helping junior members of the team. You will carry out the majority of children’s and OAP dispensing using your clinical skills to complete complex dispensing. As a qualified member of the team you will be on hand to answer clinical questions and deliver the very best levels of care possible.
Requirements of the Qualified Dispensing Optician
To apply for this position you must be a GOC qualified dispensing optician who is up to date with all CET requirements. You will be hard working and dynamic with excellent communication skills and a strong personal work ethic.
Compensation for the Qualified Dispensing Optician.
On offer for your efforts if a very nice package including a basic salary of £22,000 – £26,000 + GOC Fees + Health / Dental Care + 28 Days of Annual leave
