Optical Practice Manager
A very exciting opportunity has become available for a Qualified Practice Manager on a full time, permanent basis with a high end independent chain.
I am recruiting currently for a very well established optical company that have an opening. You will be joining one of the smaller practices in the group and as Practice Manager will be managing the practice on a daily basis, as well as the team and making sure everything runs smoothly. As well as managing the store you will also be the practices Qualified Dispensing Optician and will be on hand to dispense and help patients.
An enthusiastic and committed individual is required join one of their practices within the group. Located in an excellent location, my client’s attractive practices are equipped to the highest standard and boasts a good support team.
Responsibilities of the Qualified Dispensing Optician
The ideal candidate will have had experience as a Qualified Dispensing Optician as well as being a manager previously with a proven track record of people management and running a practice.
What is important, is your ability to build rapport and converse with patients, while getting involved in the day to day tasks of the store whether that be dispensing, stock taking, answering calls or dealing with problems.
You will be joining a small team of 4, and be taking on duties of Practice Manager as well as Dispensing Optician, working with all the latest equipment in a relaxed calm environment surrounded by a close knit friendly team
Requirements of the Qualified Dispensing Optician
At least 2 years of experience as a Qualified Dispensing Optician ideally within a busy practice. The ability to dispense to all levels and lead a team.
You will be experienced and confident with running a practice on your own having full autonomy and not being micromanaged.
A friendly and personable demeanour and strong personal work ethic.
A customer focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike.
Compensation for the Qualified Dispensing Optician
For your efforts a competitive salary of up to £30,000 is on offer as well as company benefits including paid fees, pension and more.
You will also have the opportunity to receive some further training and join a professional team in a fun and relaxed environment.
Working 9:00-5:30 Monday to Saturday – 37.5 hours to include Saturdays, no Sundays or Bank holidays
