I am recruiting for an award winning Opticians originally established in 1984 who have an excellent reputation for being a clinical specialist.
This independent high street opticians, who have a fantastic reputation for their high quality service, are looking to add to their team by recruiting an Optical Assistant to join their practice in the area.
My client is looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual who can travel between all of their practices in the Hampshire area. All practices are located in excellent, affluent locations.Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant
The ideal candidate will have had experience as an Optical Assistant and can competently work to their own initiative.
What is also important, is your ability to build rapport and converse with patients, while getting involved in the day to day tasks of the store whether that be dispensing, stock taking, answering calls or dealing with problems.
To be in the running for this role you must be able to deliver quality customer service.
You will be taking on an all-round role dispensing, performing pre-tests and contact lens teaches, occasional glazing, training and supporting other colleagues.
MUST BE ABLE TO DRIVE AND HAVE A CAR
At least 2 years of experience as an Optical Assistant ideally within a busy practice.
The ability to dispense to all levels.
A friendly and personable demeanour and strong personal work ethic.
A customer focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike.
