One of the nation’s largest retailers is branching out into the world of optics and is looking for an experienced Optical Manager, either (Qualified or non-qualified) to motivate and lead a small team for a brand new practice in St.Albans.

Your role will be split between dispensing and managing a small team of optical assistants, you’ll ensure everyone is equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to do a truly great job. Leaving you free to concentrate on what matters most – delivering the highest standards of professionalism and growing a brand new business.

Responsibilities of the Optical Practice Manager

The combined role will mean you’re accountable for the KPI’s and driving the business forward. You will coach and train colleagues but you’ll be heavily involved in the commercial development too, which means bringing great new ideas and initiatives, as well as, marketing your practice effectively to ensure sales soar.

Requirements of the Optical Practice Manager

You will have a friendly and personable demeanour and a strong personal work ethic, with customer focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike. It’s essential you have previous managerial experience and ideally have a proven track record of growing a practice year on year.

Compensation for the Optical Practice Manager
