IOL and Ophthalmic Sales jobs in the South Midlands and South East. Zest Optical are working with a well established Company that serves the global ophthalmic surgical market, supplying products in more than 50 countries worldwide. Due to continued success they are now looking for an experienced sales professional to cover the South East and South Midlands. This position offers a unique challenge to a high calibre individual who is already successful within their current role, and is looking for a new challenge and the chance to build a long-term career.
Our client designs, manufactures and distributes a portfolio of intraocular lens, implants and ophthalmic devices and have an established reputation for their design and development and highly efficient manufacturing processes.
Reporting to the Sales Director, the position involves promoting and selling this portfolio to Ophthalmic personnel in theatre. This will be a mix of exploring and developing new business opportunities whilst servicing existing accounts
Candidates must be comfortable selling in a technical environment and have experience of selling products into Theatre. They naturally favour those who are hungry for success, determined, tenacious and are ultimately focused on bringing business on board. Enthusiasm, confidence and the ability to communicate with authority to senior consultants will be a fundamental to success in this role. A good level of technical understanding of optics and associated topics is desirable, but not essential.
