One of the practices is located uptown and is a boutique type practice and the other practice is located in the administrative hub of the city attracting all working professionals. They supply Hoya lenses and working with many UK suppliers and has a growing client base of over 15000.

Responsibilities of the Optometrist
The role will be to conduct eye tests and contact lens fittings and to make suitable recommendations and will have a natural and friendly handover procedure with the very experienced support team at your disposal.
Requirements of the Optometrist
My client is looking for applications from optometrists with a valid GOC registration who have a friendly and personable demeanour with a strong personal work ethic.
A customer focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike.

Compensation for the Optometrist
If you are successful my client could start to talk about packages which, by current UK standards are exceptionally good and taken into account the lower cost of living on the island Optometrists on the island fair much better than UK counterparts offering high basic salary and a good overall package.
They are looking to offer up to £50,000 (GBP) which they feel with the benefits above is a very attractive package. The store is open Tuesday to Saturdays. Working hours are 9.00am to 17.30. On Saturdays they work a shorter day giving you the time to get ready to enjoy the weekend.
