This is an opportunity for an experienced Qualified Dispensing Optician to work with a high end independent in the Cambridge area – EXCELLENT HOURS, GREAT PACKAGE AND WARM FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT.
I am recruiting currently for a very well established optical company who have an opening due to an existing staff member moving on to something closer to home.
Full time 9:00-17:00 4 days in the week and 9:00-13:00 on Saturdays, free parking, not hard sell, friendly team and great working environment.
This independent high street opticians, who have a fantastic reputation for their high quality service, friendly enthusiastic team and patient focus being priority are looking to add to their team by recruiting a Qualified Dispensing Optician to join their practice in the area.
Responsibilities of the Qualified Dispensing Optician
The ideal candidate will have had experience as a Qualified Dispensing Optician and can competently work to their own initiative.
The main thing my client is looking for is exceptional customer service coupled with an extensive optical knowledge looking after complex prescriptions and patient requirements while also being commercially aware.
What is also important, is your ability to build rapport and converse with patients, while getting involved in the day to day tasks of the store.
Requirements of the Qualified Dispensing Optician
At least 1 years of experience but ideally 5 years+ as a Qualified Dispensing Optician ideally within a busy practice.
Fully up to date with GOC and CET requirements.
The ability to dispense to all levels.
A friendly and personable demeanour and strong personal work ethic.
A customer focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike while occasionally dealing with complaints/ queries.
Compensation for the Qualified Dispensing Optician
For your efforts a competitive salary is on offer depending on experience (up to £28k).
