Inspired Selections are currently recruiting for an Optometrist to work with a high end independent in the Bournemouth area. This independent chain have been established over 25 years and in each practice there is a full spportive team with experienced optical assistants, qualified managers and optometrists.
My client is now looking to add another Optometrist ideally to work full time but open to part time between a few of their practices within the chain in the Bournemouth area.
This independent are devoted to customer care and cater for people who prefer to have more time spent with them to properly understand their eyesight needs in depth.
Responsibilities of the Optometrist
This role will be a mobile role split between their practices all within the Bournemouth area.
You will be conducting sight tests in 25-30 minute time slots ensuring plenty of time to make a strong recommendation. Contact lens fittings and aftercares are also part of the role. As this is an independent company that is renowned for going the extra mile you will be expected to come onto the shop floor to answer questions and get involved with patients as well.
Requirements of the Optometrist
The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of 2/3 years post qualification experience ideally within a clinical practice. You will possess excellent communication skills and will be passionate about delivering the highest possible levels of care. You will be hard working and dynamic – happy to go the extra mile. Within this company everyone is expected to take a certain amount of ownership and to treat their patents as though they are theirs.
