The area of Trowbridge:
Trowbridge is the county town of Wiltshire on the River Biss in the west of the county, 8 miles south east of Bath, Somerset. Trowbridge has a railway station on the Wessex Main Line. Adjacent parishes include Staverton, Hilperton, West Ashton, North Bradley, Southwick and Wingfield; nearby towns are Bradford on Avon, Westbury, Melksham and Devizes.
Working in a large Specsavers store with 5 test rooms; you will work as part of a team of Optometrists ideally on a full time basis, however they will also consider part time candidates. Our store are looking for a newly qualified or experienced Optometrist and are able to offer a variety of training and development opportunities to include; Pathway JVP, ILM Management courses, Pre reg supervision and in the future other clinical specialisms. The store can also offer the following perks for the right candidate; medical and dental, bonus, GOC fees paid, 33 days holiday, pension and a potential relocation package.
The ins and outs
- You’ll provide an outstanding clinical service – from eye tests to contact lens fitting
- You’ll also maintain an exceptional standard of customer care
- Work with the Dispensing Optician to ensure clinics run like clockwork
- Take full responsibility for inspiring and coaching your colleagues
What you’ll need:
- You’ll need to be registered with the General Optical Council as a fully qualified optometrist
- And be on track to meet the statutory points requirement for Continued Education & Training (CET)
