2016 is the year of growth for us here at Specsavers in Evesham, Worcestershire, and as a result we are looking to expand our practice. We are now recruiting an Optometrist to join our forward-thinking store set in the heart of Evesham.

Is this role for you?
With an experienced, large support team in place to pre-screen the patients and advise on the best products, you will be able to focus on doing what you do best - conducting a test for the patient using the very latest, cutting-edge optical equipment.

The Area
The old riverside market town of Evesham is situated in the centre of the famous horticultural Vale of Evesham. From the tranquil banks of the river Avon to the undulating hills and peaceful wooded slopes of the Cotswolds, the Vale offers some of the prettiest countryside in the United Kingdom. A major attraction is the River Avon, with very popular recreational areas offering something for everyone from fishing to walking to boating. Abbey Park with its Victorian bandstand offers you music on Sunday afternoons from June to September, where you can sit back and soak in the tranquil atmosphere of a lazy sunny afternoon.

The Practice
Our practice is growing rapidly, hence why we are looking to expand our team. We are currently a large practice with 7 test rooms including 1 contact lens rooms and a dedicated hear care room. We are host to state of the art optical equipment, including Nidek phoropters, Humphrey machines and our state of the art i-harmony system. This year, we will also be getting involved in community Glaucoma testing, so where better to progress your career clinically? Particularly as we full behind your individual clinical progression, along with ILM Management courses and Joint Venture Pathway if you can see yourself becoming a Specsavers director one day!
