Opening Hours:
Mondays and Tuesdays – 9:00-6:00
Wednesdays and Fridays – 8:30 – 5:30
Thursdays – 9:00-7:00
Saturdays – 9:00-1:30
Closed Sundays and all Bank Holidays

Salary:
Up to £55k basic depending on experience, Bonus, fees paid, free parking, discounts

Must be GOC registered for 3 years+ and ideally MECS/ Pears accredited

Responsibilities of the Optometrist

” Perform eye tests (up to an hour) to a clinical and in-depth standard
” Have a keen eye and strong clinical knowledge to detect any anomalies in patient’s eye health
” Be able to carry out pre-tests such as visual fields, Goldmann applanation and Volk examinations
” Carrying out contact lens fitting
” Offering advice and care within the aftercare of each examination

Requirements of the Optometrist

The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience ideally within a clinical practice.
You will possess excellent communication skills and will be passionate about delivering the highest possible levels of care.
You will be hard working and dynamic – happy to go the extra mile. Within this company everyone is expected to take a certain amount of ownership and to treat their patents as though they are theirs.
Must be fully GOC registered, up to date with CET points and have an OPL number
