Optometrist Job, North East Kent

Our Optometry Division is currently working on behalf of an independent practice looking to recruit a dynamic and driven Optometrist to join their progressive practice in North East Kent.

The company is a family run independent opticians that pride themselves on ensuring every customer receives the best possible service every time

Working hours:

• 9:00am - 5.00pm Monday to Friday, 09:00 - 1:00 on Saturdays
• Alternate Saturdays possible
• Closed Sundays and Bank Holidays

Position available:

• Part time (2 - 3 days a week)

The Business

• Family run, sole independent opticians that has been established in the area for over 35 years

The Practice

• 2 consulting rooms
• Experienced Optom, Dispensing Opticians and Optical Assistants
• Using computerised patient management systems and state of the art equipment

Location - North East Kent

Key Benefits

Very competitive salary

• Between £45,000 - £65,000 (Depending on experience)
• Alongside a package including Pension contribution and paid professional fees

Flexible testing times, enabling exceptional high quality patient care

• 30 minute testing times

Working days may vary depending on the flexibility you require offering greater freedom for work life balance

• Half day Saturdays
• Alternate Saturdays possible
• Closed Sundays and Bank Holidays

• Topcon OCT
• Combi Units with Slit Lamp & Keratometer
• Humphreys Zeiss VFA
• Trial frames
• Computerised patient management system

The Independent business has been established for over 35 years and has a great reputation for promoting a relaxed, caring and friendly atmosphere within the practice

Known locally as being very clinical based and often get recommendations from Ophthalmologists for patients to come visit them

Running specialist services including:

• Dry eye clinics
• Low Vision Assessments
• MECS
• Visual Stress & Colorimetry assessments

25 days holiday + bank holidays, 33 in total

The practice has a traditionally modern, open planned style throughout alongside a young vibrant team

The Director is a fully qualified Optometrist who really drives clinical performance and development with all employees in the business

The owners truly believe in running an Opticians that builds close relationships with patients and staff to achieve a more long term goal
