My client has a well-established chain of practices and is now looking to employ a nine-month maternity cover receptionist in their South Birmingham practice.

Optical Receptionist Position

My client is looking for a quality driven Optical Receptionist for a maternity cover role to start on a 37.5-hour contract.

They have a loyal customer base made up of a good mix of private and NHS patients in a single clinic practice. They have a close-knit team in place with patient focus a priority and all pull together to deliver the highest levels of care possible.
They require someone who is happy to work across 6 days with 1pm finish on Wednesdays and Saturdays.

Responsibilities of the Optical Receptionist

The role will mainly entail working on reception taking booking s and general enquiries as well as managing the daily clinic diary. You will do occasional dispensing duties, conduct pre-screen tests and contact lens teaches. You will also be required to carry out frame styling and give patients advice on options.

Requirements of the Optical Receptionist

My client is looking for someone who can start and have an immediate impact with strong levels of communication, with Urdu speaking applicants a preference, and strong personal work ethic. A customer focused approach to your work and the ability to build a strong rapport with customers and colleagues alike is essential.

Compensation for the Optical Receptionist

My client is offer a salary of £8.50 per hour with the potential for a permanent role in the future in one of their other practices.
