Optical Practice Manager
My client is a chain of opticians, who have been established for 75 years with over 150 practices across the UK. They are now looking for an Optical Practice Manager to look after one of their flagship practices in Bolton.
You will be working with a small team and you will be expected to manage the team, work towards targets and offer support to fellow colleague, whilst also still being heavily involved with the dispensing and day to day running of the practice.
Responsibilities of the Optical Practice Manager
You will work within a busy practice in an all-around role. You will be helping patients with all their eye and hearing care needs, including contact lenses, designer frames, NHS eye care and hearing health checks. You will be dispensing spectacles and making sales as well as undertaking pre-screening, contact lens teaches and associated admin work. You will be working in a team of 5/6 and be able to support and motivate the team working towards targets and KPI’s.
Requirements for the Optical Practice Manager
You will need a can-do attitude with a company that really rewards success. It’s essential you can dispense spectacles to all levels. You will be pre-screening patients, delivering contact lens teaches and will be very focussed on delivering the highest levels of customer service. Ideally some level of management experience either as team leader/ supervisor or higher would be desirable.
Compensation for the Optical Practice Manager
On offer for the right person is a competitive salary of up to £25,000 as well as a generous bonus scheme (approximately £10,000 p.a.) and the opportunity to further your career. You will have 28 days holiday. NO Sundays and working hours are 9:00-17:30 Mon – Sat.
