A vacancy has opened up in a busy multiple practice. My client is a part of one of the UK’s largest and most successful optical groups.

Optometrist Position

This is a busy store set in a good location. My client is looking to add a full time optometrist to their clinical team. This store has a large and professional team in place and is owned by some experienced and successful directors. Due to their ever growing business they are now looking to add to their team.

Responsibilities of the Optometrist.

This is a clinical position where you will be conducting sight tests and contact lens fittings and aftercares. You will be working within a well equipped test room using industry standard equipment. You will work to 20 minute test slots and this practice operates a 3 way hand over system. You will be on hand to offer advice and make recommendations to help patient’s sight issues etc.

Requirements of the Optometrist.

To apply for this position you will need to be a GOC registered, fully qualified Optometrist who is up to date with all CET requirements. You will be a hard working people person with excellent communication skills and the commercial awareness to help you to meet financial requirements of the position.
They will consider applicants with all experience levels from newly qualified to more experienced applicants

Compensation for the Optometrist

For you efforts a competitive salary of £35,000 – £45,000 + bonus package is on offer as well as a good working environment.
