An exclusive optical boutique in a prime Central London location are looking to add a well organised and friendly Optical Assistant to their front of house team.

Optical Assistant Position

This is a very well appointed practice situated in a busy Central London location. They offer a clinical sight test followed with the choice from a very select collection of frames and lenses from some of the world’s leading designers and manufacturers. Your role will be to support the professional team by undertaking essential admin and reception work. This is a permanent, full time position working 5 out of 7 days

Responsibilities of the Optical Assistant

You will be to support the professional team and help with the smooth running of the practice. You will undertake essential reception duties, booking appointments, managing the clinic diary , meet and greet customers coming in. You will also have a major part in assisting the management and ownership team and they move to a paperless system. As with any independent company every member of staff helps in all areas of a practice and you will help with dispensing and frame styling duties as required.

Requirements of the Optical Assistant

To apply for this position you must have optical experience with the ability to dispense glasses. You will be well presented and well spoken with a friendly and helpful attitude. You will be fashion conscious and up to date with the latest optical trends.

Compensation for the Optical Assistant.

On offer to the right candidate is a very competitive salary of £18k – £21k + additional development opportunities.
