Check out this new opportunity for an Optometrist to work in for a small independent chain who have been established since 1990, have a great reputation in one of their practices based in the Milton Keynes area.
They are ideally looking to recruit an Optometrist to work 5 days a week working 9:00-17:30 (no Sundays or Bank Holidays). The role will see you working in air-conditioned, luxury rooms, with qualified dispensing staff, testing to a relaxed 25 minutes in a quality working environment.
This is a very relaxed working environment with customer focus as a priority, all pre-testing done for you by the support staff in practice.

Responsibilities of the Optometrist
The role will involve conducting sight tests in 25-minute time slots ensuring plenty of time to make a strong recommendation. Contact lens fittings and aftercares are also part of the role. As this is an independent company that is renowned for going the extra mile you will be expected to come onto the shop floor to answer questions and get involved with patients as well.
Requirements of the Optometrist
The ideal candidate for this position will have a minimum of 2/3 years post qualification experience ideally within a clinical practice. You will possess excellent communication skills and will be passionate about delivering the highest possible levels of care. You will be hard working and dynamic – happy to go the extra mile. Within this company everyone is expected to take a certain amount of ownership and to treat their patents as though they are theirs.
