Optical Practice Manager
My client is a chain of opticians, who have been established for 75 years with over 150 practices across the UK. They are now looking for an Optical Practice Manager to look after one of their busy practices..
You will be working with a small team and you will expected to manage the team, working towards targets and offering any support to fellow colleagues while also still being heavily involved with the dispensing and day to day running of the practice.
Responsibilities of the Optical Practice Manager
You will work within a busy practice in an all around role. You will be helping patients with all their eye and hearing care needs, including contact lenses, designer frames, NHS eye care and hearing health checks. You will be dispensing spectacles and making sales as well as undertaking pre-screening, contact lens teaches and associated admin work.
You will be working in a small team of 4/5 staff and be able to support and motivate the team working towards targets and KPI’s.
Requirements for the Optical Practice Manager
You will need a minimum of 2 years experience as an Optical Practice Manager with a proven track record and it’s essential you can manage a team and have an understanding on running the practice on a day to day basis. You will also be on hand dispensing spectacles to all levels, pre-screening patients, delivering contact lens teaches and will be very focussed on delivering the highest levels of customer service.
Compensation for the Optical Practice Manager
On offer for the right person is a competitive salary of up to £25,000 as well as a Managers bonus (could achieve Approx £5k per annum) and the opportunity to further your career. You will have 28 days holiday. NO Sunday’s or bank holidays.
