Experienced Full time Optometrist - West Midlands - Independent Practice

My Client, a well-established, small group of independent practices, have a vacancy for an experienced full time Optometrist, with at least at least 3 years’ experience,  to work between their 3 practices in the following areas; Penkridge, Wolverhampton and Pelsall. The practices are well equipped. You will be expected to carry out your own pre-screening but all appointments are 40 minutes.  Their business model and ethos is built around one to one Optometry care with all clinical aspects carried out by the Optometrist.  The ideal candidate will be MECS accredited or willing to undergo training to do so and also be diabetic photographer qualified or again willing to undergo training. They have good support staff including qualified Dispensing Opticians, Optical Assistants, and Receptionists. The practices offer a very pleasant working environment with a great, well bonded team who are all focussed on providing quality, friendly and professional eyecare, which is paramount for the patients, whilst also being aware of the need for commercial knowledge and awareness. Working hours are 9.00am to 5.30pm including Saturdays with a day off in the week, however there will be one Saturday off in 4.
