Business Development Manager - Optical Field Sales - North East Territory (to cover Yorkshire and the East Midlands )

My Client is dedicated to providing new and innovative products for the Optical Field specialising in dry eye and blepharitis products.  With their expanding range of products they are looking to recruit a field based Business Development Manager for the Optical channel to cover the North East Territory, to cover Yorkshire and the East Midlands covering the following post codes; BD, DH, DL, DN, HD, HG, HU, HX, LN, LS, NE, NG, S, SR, TD, TS, WF, YO.  The Company is dedicated to providing new and innovative pharmaceutical products for the Ophthalmology field.  The role will involve covering all the areas listed above and ideally you will live central to these post code areas, developing and maintaining Key National Accounts within the Optical Industry and also managing a local territory. The successful candidate must have worked within the Optical field for at least three years, be very sales orientated and target driven. Ideally, you will have established contacts within the industry and have a strong sales record. In return my Client is offering an excellent salary package including a generous car allowance or fully expensed company car, pension and healthcare cover.
