Group Treasury Ops Admin Role summary

We now have a fantastic opportunity for a keen and motivated individual to join our Treasury team as a Group Treasury Administrator. This position is ideal for someone who is really keen to learn and develop and is looking to develop their career in banking and treasury. You will be fully supported and trained by the team, so you will start off on the right platform to grow in the role. Within our Treasury team, we provide a finance banking service to our Joint Venture Partners (JVPs) by providing a banking service to all our Specsavers stores in the UK, Netherlands, ROI and group companies.

The department is primarily responsible for the management and service of in-house bank accounts, reconciliation of Specsavers Finance external bank accounts and the maintenance of the effective application of banking transactions and the secure and timely release of all outward payments.

The main purpose of this role is to prepare and authorise/release of payment batches on all electronic platforms as appropriate within given deadlines, bank account reconciliation investigations, and to assist Store Directors and staff with bank account related queries and any challenges at bank counter. In addition, the role is responsible for arrange and maintaining store PDQ card machines, and assisting the team with cross-functional duties.

A “first time right” attitude, attention to detail and good communication skills are key as you will be supporting the team with improving customer service to the wider finance team and JVPs.

You will be 'systems orientated' and hold good Excel skills. You should have an eye for possible process improvements, along with good numeracy and written English skills and accurate typing skills. You will need to comfortable and flexible with change, as the banking team are working in an ever changing environment.
