Optical Practice Manager
My client is a chain of opticians, who have been established for 75 years with over 150 practices across the UK. They are now looking for an Optical Practice Manager to look after one of their busy practices in the Bournemouth area.
You will be working with a small team and you will be expected to manage the team, working towards targets and offering any support to fellow colleagues while also still being heavily involved with the dispensing and day to day running of the practice.
Responsibilities of the Optical Practice Manager
You will work within a busy practice in an all-around role. You will be helping patients with all their eye and hearing care needs, including contact lenses, designer frames, NHS eye care and hearing health checks. You will be dispensing spectacles and making sales as well as undertaking pre-screening, contact lens teaches and associated admin work.
You will be working in a small team and be able to support and motivate the team working towards targets and KPI’s.
Requirements for the Optical Practice Manager
You will need a proven track record of management within optics and it’s essential you can dispense spectacles to all levels.
You will be managing the clinics getting involved with all aspects of the business from being hands-on with dispensing to managing the team by offering training and development as well as driving the business forward increasing the turnover
Compensation for the Optical Practice Manager
On offer for the right person is a competitive salary of up to £25,000 as well as a generous bonus scheme (monthly and quarterly) and the opportunity to further your career. You will have 28 days holiday. NO Sundays
Working hours are 9-5:30 with an early finish on Saturdays at 5pm
