About the Store/Technology:
The Partners of Clydebank are looking for an Optometrist for either their store in Clydebank or their new store in Braehead opening in March 2018. The Clydebank store currently has a team of around 40 employees with 6 testing rooms and is renowned for developing its Optometrists many who go on to run their own stores. Clydebank is a small town in West Dunbartonshire only 25 minutes from the centre of Glasgow. The store has all the technology you would expect including
Fundas cameras with in room iPads, Visual fields etc .
The Braehead store is a new store opening in March 2018 with around 12 employees which will obviously grow with 2 testing rooms growing to 4. Braehead is a commercial development known for its large shopping centre, arena and leisure facilities, it was rebranded Intu Braehead in 2013 and is only 15 minutes from Glasgow city centre. Again the store will have the technology you would expect from a market leader and more including Fundas camera with in room iPads, Visual fields, OCT and Auto Phoropter in all rooms.
As an Optometrist you will have the full opportunity for clinical, professional, and personal development, including, but not limited to: WOPEC accreditations, College of Optometrist Higher certificates, IP, Senior Optometrist progression and management development all sponsored by the store in order to aid your specific career and personal goals. They will also look at PID development, ILM2/3 and Vision Aid if this is of interest.
Contracts can be tailored to meet personal needs they currently have Full time and Part time OOs working a variation of working hours including late start early finish or late nights and are more than happy to discuss what might work for you.
As an Optometrist (full or part time, newly qualified or experienced) you will provide an outstanding clinical service by providing world class eye tests and by maintaining an exceptional standard of customer care to all patients and work with the Dispensing Opticians and Manager to ensure clinics run smoothly. Testing times currently run at 30 minutes.
