The practice

Bowler and Charsley has been a respected name in optics in the Nottingham area for over 45 years.  The practices in Bulwell and Radcliffe-on-Trent have provided an excellent clinical and personal service to their patients and are a popular choice with local residents.

As a family run independent, we pride ourselves on providing a personal service, where everyone is respected and valued. The appointment of a new optometrist with the appropriate skills and qualities is an extremely important one and is a vital step in the continued growth of the business.  The person appointed will be a key member of the team providing the professional expertise required to give an excellent service to patients, as well as working towards the aim of bringing the Bulwell practice back up to 5 days testing and increasing the number of testing days in Radcliffe-on-Trent.  As well as being able to demonstrate the core responsibilities of conducting thorough eye examinations and recommending products, you will also be someone with drive and enthusiasm, who would enjoy the opportunity of working with us to shape a developing practice.

Since taking over the business in 2014, we have introduced new equipment and systems, trained staff and begun to create a fresh look to the practices.  These developments will continue in 2018 and beyond.
