Specsavers have embarked on an exciting partnership with Sainsbury's, resulting in a number of Specsavers branches operating as a store within a store. Due to the continued growth of this concept, we are looking for a Store Implementation Manager - known internally as a Business Development Manager - to work closely with the Regional Support teams, Joint Venture Partners & our Sainsbury's stakeholders within a designated region to help grow the business and create value for the partnership.
This role will will play a key part in the build and maintenance of key strategic relationships between Specsavers and Sainsbury’s ensuring strong ties are built for a successful and long-term partnership.
You will be responsible for creating and scoping the proposed works, along with evaluating, interpreting and negotiating with our store Partners regarding proposed relocation, expansion and rebrand projects including preparation of detailed financial planning and presentations for the proposed works to ensure a return on investment for our partners.
We’re looking for a financially astute, strategic professional with experience of working with complex financial models and P&L’s, who has strong influencing and negotiation skills. Someone with a proven ability, to define strategies and translate these strategies into sound business plans, generating high quality written reports for partner and Board sign off. Someone with knowledge and passion for retail and the operational functions of a retail environment, who is results/outcome driven with the ability to demonstrate consistent, high quality communication, analytical and influencing skills within a fast paced, changing environment.
Looking at the growth and investment strategy for approximately 150 stores within your territory, where you will work closely with our partners, supporting and defining investment and projects that deliver profitable growth for both the partners and the wider Specsavers business.
