Optometrist - Carmarthen, South Wales
This is the year of growth for us here at Specsavers in Carmarthen, and as a result we are looking to expand our practice. We are now recruiting an Optometrist to join our forward-thinking store set in the heart of Wales.
Is this role for you?
With an experienced, large support team in place to pre-screen the patients and advise on the best products, you will be able to focus on doing what you do best - conducting a test for the patient using the very latest, cutting-edge optical equipment.

Carmarthen has a strong claim to being the oldest town in Wales but the two settlements of Old and New Carmarthen were only united into a single borough in 1546. The former cattle market in the heart of the town has undergone regeneration. The new shopping centre opened on 30 April 2010. The development now includes a new multi-screen cinema, department store, market hall, restaurants and a car park . The new market hall opened on 8 April 2009. There is an expanding range of restaurants in the new shopping centre, mainly national chains.
Our practice is growing rapidly, hence why we are looking to expand our team. We are currently a large practice with 3 test rooms. We are looking to expand to 4 test rooms in total in the near future to facilitate continued growth. We are host to state of the art optical equipment, including Nidek phoropters, Humphrey machines and our state of the art i-harmony system. As we full behind your individual clinical progression, along with ILM Management courses and Joint Venture Pathway if you can see yourself becoming a Specsavers director one day!
