This modern practice is looking for an optometrist to join this busy, well appointed business which has in place an experienced team to support and conduct the pre-screening. My client can consider both full or part time contract.

This 10 testing room practice is friendly and relaxed and is looking for a people person who is able to add value to the team. 25 minute testing, no contact lens work required, newly qualified optometrists also welcome to apply.

Responsibilities of the Optometrist

You primary function within this position will be to conduct sight tests within 20 -25 minute slots. You will also be required to undertake contact lens fittings and aftercare appointments. You will offer expert advice and come up with recommendations to help your patients. Patient care will always be a paramount importance but you will also understand the commercial aspect of the position.

Requirements of the Optometrist

To apply for this position you will be a fully qualified GOC registered Optometrist. The successful candidate must be a keen team player, commercially aware and willing to be a proactive member of the company.

Compensation for the Optometrist

In return for your efforts you will receive a more than competitive salary package of £40,000 – £50,000 and a number of benefits to be discussed during the interview process.
