Assistant Manager - Newlands Role summary

As an Assistant Manager at our Newlands store in Glasgow, you’ll make sure that the store runs like clockwork, supporting the management team and driving team performance. You will work with our shop floor team on a daily basis, making sure every customer gets a great experience when they come into our store. It means listening to what they want, providing exceptional clinical advice and dispensing lenses. You’ll work to H&S guidelines (as well as our own high standards), explain our current offers and promotions and make a positive impression, thanks to your polite and professional approach.

In return we’ll continue to develop and expand your knowledge of vision problems, eyecare and our products. With many of our current directors and managers beginning their career within Specsavers as an Assistant Manager, your career progression is endless.You'll be a role model for our shop floor staff on a daily basis, leading the team and taking on additional responsibilities including problem solving, dealing with customer queries/complaints and leading the team.
