An attractive opportunity has opened for a full time Optometrist in our Lewes Specsavers store.

This position will take you into the friendly town of Lewes where you’ll never be short of things to do! With a fantastic variety of restaurants, cafes, pubs and Harvey’s Brewery you’ll be spoilt for choice. This beautiful picturesque town also features the remains of a 1000 year old Norman castle and Anne of Cleaves (fourth wife of King Henry Vlll) house. Just 6 miles from the vibrant city of Brighton our store is in the perfect location. The staff within this small cosy store, featuring 2 test rooms, describe the team as close-knit. We’re looking for someone who will enjoy becoming a part of our team of 8 staff and continue to offer our customers a professional and personal experience.

Key Information:

  • A competitive basic salary
  • A part time role in which Saturday/Sunday are required - either 1 or 2 days

As a qualified Optometrist, registered with the GOC, you’ll be responsible for putting people at ease and welcoming customers with a naturally personable approach. You will talk customers through the eye examination process and talk through their options with them. What’s more, you must be passionate about what you do with an aptitude for organisation – which means you keep accurate records and always have up-to-date knowledge of the latest developments in your field.
