Contact Lens Professionals: Part-time Training Role  

Positive Impact is a specialist ophthalmic outsourcing company and is currently working on behalf of a leading contact lens company to recruit a team of Professional Affairs Consultants who can educate and train all members of the practice team. You will either be a qualified Optometrist or Contact Lens Optician with a proven work history and in-depth experience in the fitting of a variety of contact lens types and brands. 

Person requirements and skills

  • You will be a UK registered Optometrist or Contact Lens Optician
  • You will need to be self employed and available for a minimum of 2 days a week
  • You will have extensive experience in contact lens fitting, including multifocal contact lenses
  • You will ideally have experience of delivering training and/or demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills
  • A ‘self starter’ who also enjoys working within a team and is looking for new opportunities outside of the practice environment

This is rare opportunity to gain experience with a major contact lens manufacturer and is ideal for a clinician who is looking to advance their career in this direction.  Working for Positive Impact on behalf of its client, the opportunity is for 2-4 days a week on a self employed basis. Remuneration will be based on typical day rates.  The roll out is nationwide but currently we are especially keen to hear from practitioners residing in the following locations.
