PPRUK are currently looking for an Optometrist to join our client; the UK’s most successful domiciliary optical company.  With flexible week day working, and use of cutting edge portable technology – our client can offer you extremely lucrative and flexible packages containing the following:

The focus of the role is visiting patients in their own homes (rather than a windowless testing room), and providing comfortable and professional eye tests for patients who aren’t necessarily able to make it into the branch. You’ll be joining a company that has been growing successfully for over 30 years, and who genuinely focus on both their employee and patient care.

Position: Mobile Optometrist

Location: Local to your home postcode

Basic Salary: £32,000 - £48,000 basic salary

Bonus: Up to 10% on all sales – this can generally add £7,000 - £12,000 per year

Extras: Company car provided

As well as working with your own ophthalmoscope, you’ll use a variety of portable instruments including:

  • LCD Screen with logMAR Chart (tablet PC works out Snellen equivalent)
  • Mobile slit lamp
  • Digital fundus camera
  • I-care tonometer
  • Mobile Indirect Binocular Ophthalmoscope

You’ll also have your own digital record keeping tablet – which has been designed specifically for our client’s Optometrist to work best for them. Other benefits include:
